Joonsuk is interested in the high-tech and automotive industries, with a focus on autonomous driving, cloud computing, big data, and semiconductors. He is based in Korea and supports China Mobility Fund portfolio companies and investors in Korea.
Professional Journey
Prior to joining TransLink, Joonsuk was the VP of the Big Data Group and Connectivity Group at Hyundai Motor Company. He also served as a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, where he conducted corporate strategy projects for global leaders, including Samsung, SK, and Hyundai. Before McKinsey, Joonsuk was the head of the R&D center in a semiconductor startup.
Education
Joonsuk received his Ph.D. in Mixed Signal Processing & Semiconductor, and he holds an M.A. and B.A. in Electrical Engineering from KAIST. He achieved early graduation in just 2 years from Seoul Science High School.
Passion
He enjoys playing golf and esports games like League of Legends.
